The foundation will distribute $155,000 to local non-profit and charity projects.

The ߣÄÌÉçÇøCommunity Foundation will be administering $155,000 specifically for one-time projects that focus on investing in systems and processes. Projects given as an example include the implementation of a new communications plan or the enhancement of a new accounting system.

The CSRF is a $400 million investment meant to support charities and non-profits as they help communities recover from the pandemic.

“Our charities and non-profits are at the forefront of addressing our community’s needs, but many of them are struggling to recover from the pandemic and adapt to changing needs of the ߣÄÌÉçÇøcommunity. With increasing demands for services and the rising cost of living, this funding is needed now more than ever,” said the ߣÄÌÉçÇøCommunity Foundation board chair, Suzie Soman, in a news release.

According to the release, the ߣÄÌÉçÇøCommunity Foundation will be administering $155,000 specifically for one-time projects that focus on investing in systems and processes. Projects given as an example include the implementation of a new communications plan or the enhancement of a new accounting system.

The Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, Karina Gould, said in the release that because of the strong connections ߣÄÌÉçÇøCommunity Foundation has with local organizations, it will be able to ensure that funding is distributed to organizations that provide services where they are needed.
