Stolen property

The 撸奶社区RCMP say they have received many reports of stolen property, such as scooters, bicycles and dirt bikes, within the last several weeks.

The property has been stolen from storage sheds, garages, bike racks, businesses and elsewhere.

The police say that although the property was locked in most instances, the perpetrators cut the locks. Four bikes have since been recovered — three of which were in bushes, while one was found in a parking lot.

The 撸奶社区RCMP reminds the public to take photos of their bikes, record serial numbers, note any distinguishing features and stay vigilant.

Business break and entry

The RCMP has also received several reports of break and entry into local businesses.

In two incidents, the police reported that CCTV footage showed two masked individuals using a prying tool to gain entry. The suspects were able to steal various items before the police arrived.

These investigations are ongoing.
