The rodeo has been a staple of the school year for 45 years; the local RCMP, 撸奶社区Rotary Club, and the school teachers sponsor the event.

David will be remembered for his determined and positive spirit, love of cooking, love and knowledge of music, wry sense of humour, excellent accounting and tech skills and the love, respect, and loyalty he showed and shared with his friends and family.

Leilani attended Sutherland Junior High School and the Kamloops Indian Residential School.

Lani will be remembered for her love of animals, feisty demeanour and being a fiercely loyal mother, grandmother, daughter, and cousin who ensured she took care of her family and others around her.
