Obituary: Beverly Dunbar (nee Sherwood)

Beverly, Ralph and their children lived in many areas of the province from the B.C. Interior, Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, to the Pacific Northwest.

It is with great sorrow that we grieve the passing of Beverly Dunbar (nee Sherwood).

Born and raised in Vancouver; growing up she spent many enjoyable occasions in the Kamloops area.

She is predeceased by her parents and her husband of almost 70 years, Ralph Dunbar. She is survived by; sons David (Ruth) and Keith (Liz), daughters Elizabeth Harris (Grant) and Lorraine McLarty (James); grandchildren Dustin (Felicia), Aaron (Erin), Kimberly (Scott), Candace (Reece), Katrina (Richard), Andrew (Catey), Clayton (Jillian), Logan (Carrie), Barbara (Travis), Heather (David), Allyssa (Anthony), and Ashley (Jesse).

She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, relations and friends and her brother Robert (Jean) Sherwood.

Beverly, Ralph and their children lived in many areas of the province from the B.C. Interior, Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, to the Pacific Northwest. 

Many years were spent camping, fishing and travelling the back roads and byways, taking full advantage of the beauty and wilderness around them. 

Beverly was a trained music teacher and an accomplished pianist and organist.

Beverly loved making beautiful music, as well as sewing, knitting and crocheting gifts for family and friends. She was a member of the United Church community wherever they resided and a registered member of the Order of the Eastern Star (Adah Chapter Number Sixteen).
