Any 撸奶社区grocery shopper has noticed changes at the local .
One of the first noticeable changes was the switch to More Rewards points versus My NR points.
“We are excited to move forward with More Rewards, one of Western Canada’s favourite loyalty programs with over 3.5 million members,” wrote a spokesperson from in an email. “With the More Rewards card, customers can earn points during almost every grocery shop.”
The spokesperson said switching leftover points from My NR to More Rewards is possible.
“We are connecting directly with our customers in-store and via email to share how they can transition their existing My NR points over to More Rewards.”
The store itself has also been undergoing some expansion and product rearranging.
“We were excited when space opened up in our complex that allowed us to expand our health and wellness offering, including our new Pure Pharmacy,” wrote the spokesperson.
The Pure Pharmacy aspect will focus on “preventative medicine and promoting vitality, combining a holistic and integrative health model.” Additionally, the pharmacy will serve more traditional roles such as filling regular prescriptions.
The spokesperson wrote that the pharmacy will be staffed with natural health advisors and pharmacists to meet patient needs.
Meanwhile, the local Nesters Market has switched where it is getting its products from.
“We have started to pull our products from the Pattison Food Group Warehouses. This gives our customers a larger product selection and increases the availability of products on our shelves,” wrote the spokesperson.
According to a , Jim Pattison Group businesses such as Save-On-Foods, Buy-Low Foods and Quality Foods announced that they would be reporting to the newly formed Pattison Food Group. Nesters Market was also among the many businesses that also began reporting to Pattison Food Group at the time.
“This structure will allow businesses to build momentum, leverage each other’s strengths and enhance efficiencies across their respective organizations,” reads the 2021 news release.
In 2018, Nesters Market became an official partner and, despite the recent switch in product supply, the spokesperson wrote that they remain “committed to promoting and carrying the most sustainable, ocean-friendly options.”
In other news, the store also has promoted a local team member to store manager.
“Sean [Jordan] has been part of the Nesters team since 2009 and grew up right in Squamish; he knows the community and what our customers expect in their local grocery store.”
Additionally, the former 撸奶社区store manager, Sean Daly, has been promoted within the organization to Nesters banner co-ordinator said the spokesperson.
