Diane Strandberg

Diane is a reporter for the Tri-City ߣÄÌÉçÇø who writes about civic government, including school board and Port Coquitlam council, as well as neighbourhood issues such as new businesses and restaurants, wildlife conflicts and impacts of density on the community and the environment.

A long-time resident of New Westminster, Diane has two grown sons; thus, she has expanded her coverage to include housing, real estate, renting and condo concerns. She has won the Ma Murray Award for her coverage of the Mossom hatchery and rebuild as well as receiving honours for feature and editorial writing with the Canadian Community ߣÄÌÉçÇøpapers Association and the BC and Yukon ߣÄÌÉçÇøpaper Association.
