Abby Luciano, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter

Abby Luciano is the Local Journalism Initiative Reporter at the North Shore ߣÄÌÉçÇø covering civic and Indigenous affairs.

She received her bachelor of arts in journalism and history from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2024, where she worked as the editor-in-chief for the student newspaper, The Runner. Abby’s work has also appeared in The Tyee and the CBC.

When she’s not writing, you can find her attending a concert, playing video games or going on a hike in the Lower Mainland.

She always welcomes story ideas, opinions or new baking recipes.
