QMJHL roundup: Remparts continue to roll, squash Sea Dogs 7-2

Peter Reynolds and Brady Burns scored for Saint John (2-4-0-0).

Quebec outshot the visitors 40-31.

William Veillette and Evan Courtois scored for Shawinigan (5-4-0-0).

WILDCATS 3 ISLANDERS 2 (OT)

MONCTON, N.B. — Thomas Auger scored at 2:56 over overtime to give the host Wildcats an exciting 3-2 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders.

Etinne Morin and Cole Bishop also scored for the Wildcats (2-3-0-0), who outshot the visitors 34-26.

Michael Horth and Jakub Brabenec scored for the Islanders (3-2-0-0), who scored at 17:33 of the third period to force the overtime.

HUSKIES 7 OCEANIC 2

ROUYN-NORANDA, QUE. — Anthony Turcotte scored a goal and added two assists as Rouyn-Noranda defeated visiting Rimouski 7-2.

Bill Zonnon, Tristan Allard, Benjamin Brunelle, Louis-Philippe Fontaine, Mathis Perron and Leighton Carruthers also scored for Rouyn-Noranda (5-5-0-0).

Jan Sprynar and Jude Campbell scored for Rimouski (2-6-1-0).
