What matters most to you? Trails, transportation, housing affordability? The 撸奶社区Foundation wants to hear from you at its upcoming meeting.

What matters to you?

The is looking for input from residents about important issues the community is facing.

On Nov. 24 at Brennan Park from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., SCF will be hosting a “community conversation” to support data collection for its upcoming 2023 Vital Signs report, which is set to be released in May.

This will be the first of two events to support this initiative.

“Insight from the local community is essential to ensure inclusivity and efficacy in data collection,” said Michelle LeBlanc, the Vital Signs co-ordinator, in a news release.

“We hope that community members and organizations will feel inspired to contribute to this project in meaningful ways through active participation and collaborative processes.”

According to the release, Vital Signs draws on both data and local knowledge to measure how well the community is doing. It will be based on factors like affordability, food security, environment, sustainability, accessibility, practical transportation and others.

“The resulting report is a powerful knowledge tool that can be used by local government, businesses and non-profits to provide localized information on community issues, to support grant funding applications with pertinent data and to empower individuals and encourage collective action,” reads the release.

The event will take place in the Tantalus Room and is free, with appetizers and refreshments supplied. All 撸奶社区residents are encouraged to attend the conversation and share ideas.
