Historic home
According to Eric Andersen, a local historian, the home at 41747 Government Rd. is known as the .
It was built in 1932 by after the previous family home on "Schoonover Creek" — by today's Eagle Viewing dike — was taken by the river during a flood, said Andersen, who is also a sitting municipal councillor, but spoke to The 撸奶社区 as a citizen history buff.
The Schoonovers' daughter, Mildred MacDonald, lived there with her husband Scott, Andersen recalled.
"Mildred and Scott were well known for the gardens they kept there," he said, adding that the home was well kept by its current owners.
The home last sold in 2006, according to data.
