The Tim Hortons on the next to CIBC had a driver accidentally drive into one of the windows, which ultimately broke the window pane.
On Dec. 1 before 6 a.m., according to the RCMP, a driver accidentally pulled forward through the window when they intended to reverse. The broken window has since been boarded up. Operation at the local fast-food restaurant seems to have continued uninterrupted despite the incident.
“The passenger sustained injuries that required medical attention, and this person is now recovering,” wrote Mounties in the weekly media briefs to The ߣÄÌÉçÇø sent out Dec. 6. “Police continue following up.”
Police confirmed with The ߣÄÌÉçÇø that no one else was injured in the incident.
The ߣÄÌÉçÇø contacted Tim Hortons corporate to follow up on the incident. They have yet to respond to the request.
