A friend asked if I thought the pantomime Snow White would be appropriate for her three-year-old granddaughter. The answer is yes, yes, yes! I and a few friends went to the matinee performance Saturday and all the children in the audience made it worthwhile. They had great fun booing the villainess, following Chuckles' directions and adoring Snow White, Prince Michael and all the other characters. The chorus of boys and girls added to a wonderful performance by all. The Women's Auxiliary to 撸奶社区General Hospital has done it again! This past year its fundraising sales, raffles, memorial gifts and running the gift shop at SGH raised more than $20,000. This amount was given to the hospital for the purchase of an endoscopy. With the donation of $500 from the Royal Canadian Legion Diamond Head branch they were also able to purchase two oxygen pressure sensors. The Auxiliary thanks the community for its continued support, but I think a big thank-you goes out to WA members for their long hours of volunteer work.
