Whether you are Sikh, Muslim, Budhism, Baha’i, First Nations, Christian or anything else – all are welcome to attend the fourth annual Unity in Diversity Dinner. The emphasis of the event is to embrace the diversities of religion and lifestyle whilst celebrating the coming together of all these people.
This year will be the first time it will take place at the Sikh Temple (previously at the United Church) at 6 p.m., Sunday (Sept. 28).
It is organized by the ߣÄÌÉçÇøMultifaith Association, an organization that works to increase understanding and fellowship between people of different faiths.Â
The speaker for the unity dinner is Sukhvinder Kaur Vinning, the former executive director of the World Sikh Organization of Canada. Presently, she is a member of the Leadership Council for the United Religions Initiative North America.Â
Admission for the evening is by donation.Â
