Tickets went on sale this week for a community-wide Radical Shift, the theme of the inaugural TEDxSquamish, an independent event organized in the spirit of ideas worth spreading.
Tickets for the Nov. 2 event went on sale on Tuesday (Oct. 1).
"This is really happening. The response from the community, from our volunteers, from prospective speakers has been fantastic," Craig Davidiuk, the event's project lead, said in a statement. "We're really looking forward to showcasing the incredible passion and diversity of Squamish."
Organizers plan to begin announcing the list of presenters for the all-day conference later this week, Davidiuk told The Chief. The full list of speakers is to be announced on Oct. 17, he said.
