ߣÄÌÉçÇøChamber seeks nominations for Business Excellence Awards

Chamber of Commerce calls on the community to submit nominations by Oct. 27.

The awards event will take place on Dec. 1 at Quest University, where all 10 winners will be announced.

The is seeking nominations for its annual Business Excellence Awards by Oct. 27.

The Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for 10 separate awards. In no specific order, they are: large business of the year, small business of the year, new business of the year, green business of the year, business innovation, workplace of the year, community builder of the year, business person of the year, Bill Manson citizen of the year and young entrepreneur of the year.

“ߣÄÌÉçÇøbusinesses have demonstrated so much ingenuity and resilience over the past few years and the awards are an opportune time to celebrate those achievements,” said Abby Majendie, ߣÄÌÉçÇøChamber president, in a news release. “We are so proud of the vibrancy of our local businesses and are looking forward to recognizing those that have made significant contributions to our community.”

Submissions are reviewed by the nomination committee with representation from the ߣÄÌÉçÇøChamber board of directors. Three finalists are selected for each category and then ߣÄÌÉçÇøChamber members and the nomination committee combine their votes to select a winner
