Obituary: Richard (Rick) Wayne Tough

Rick moved to 撸奶社区B.C., in the early 1990s. Whistler Blackcomb became his home ski hill, which he and his buddies came to know very well and enjoyed many years of skiing together.

Richard (Rick) Wayne Tough, 1954-2022

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard (Rick) Wayne Tough on Nov. 9, 2022, at age 68. Beloved father, brother, son, uncle, and friend. Rick was born in North Vancouver, B.C. on Oct. 19, 1954, to parents Lawrence (Larry) and Rena Tough.

Survived by his son Adrian, father Larry, mother Rena, siblings Lee Anne (Ian), Russell (Tracy) and Rob (Tina), nieces Hannah, Rudy, and cousins.

Rick was born and raised in North Vancouver. He was a great lover of nature and had a connection with it from an early age. Being in the mountains, hiking, skiing, and camping were at the top of his list. He also loved sailing and was an accomplished seaman, spending many hours sailing the local west coast waters of B.C. He was an avid gardener and nurtured a well-tended vegetable garden every year.

Rick moved to 撸奶社区B.C., in the early 1990s. Whistler Blackcomb became his home ski hill, which he and his buddies came to know very well and enjoyed many years of skiing together.

Rick worked for himself as an electrician and electrical contractor, Seaforth Electric, a profession he shared with his father and brother, and was a member of the IBEW.

Rick will be missed by all who knew him.
