Lorraine Karen Friesen,1947 - 2023
In the quietest part of dawn on May 27, 2023, Karen passed away in the loving arms of her husband, Warren and daughter Kelly.
Her son Cory reached for her hand and embraced her when her spirit joined his.
Karen was born in New Westminster, the eldest of four sisters.
She met her soul mate in 1962 and, after marrying in 1969, moved to Squamish, where they built a life in Brackendale.
She will be remembered for her curling skills, her beautiful gardens, her famous butter tarts and for being known as a Lady.
We would like to say how grateful we are for the care that Karen received from the doctors, nurses and staff of The Sea to Sky Hospice.
