For the first time ever, the Western Regional Harley Owners Group (HOG) Rally is coming to Squamish.
Hundreds of motorcycle riders from across the province are descending on ߣÄÌÉçÇøfor a weekend full of fun on the open road today through Saturday (July 3 to 5).
It all kicks off today (July 3), with HOG Rally participants meeting up at the Executive Suites Hotel and Resort in ߣÄÌÉçÇøand going on guided rides up and down the Sea to Sky Highway from 1 to 3 p.m. Following the rides will be a group meet and greet with music, food and drinks back at the hotel.
Action starts early on Friday (July 4), with poker runs starting at 8:30 a.m. and running until 4 p.m. Poker run stops include: Brandywine Falls, the Big Sky Golf Course in Pemberton, the Whistler Celebration Plaza and Chances Casino in Squamish. A poker run is a travelling game used frequently by motorcycle enthusiasts that sees participants pick up a playing card at a set number of locations and whoever makes the best hand wins a prize.Ìý
After the long day of riding, HOG Rally attendees will meet up at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park for dinner, drinks, music, activities and the official opening ceremonies of the event.
Riders hit the road again on Saturday (July 5), as they go for a destination ride to Trev Deely Motorcycles in Vancouver. HOG Rally participants then return to ߣÄÌÉçÇøto show off their skills at a Bike Games event in downtown Squamish. The event runs until 4:30 p.m. in conjunction with the Show ‘n’ Shine, which features antique motorcycles and cars.
The event concludes back at the railway park with dinner, drinks, closing ceremonies, entertainment and awards from 6 to 11 p.m.
