A local youth-oriented service club is organizing a scavenger hunt this weekend that aims to help participants get to know downtown businesses while raising money for the 撸奶社区Helping Hands Society.
The Great Downtown Extravaganza, planned on Saturday (May 4) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will see teams of two or more follow clues and navigate their way around the downtown core, getting to know local merchants for fun and prizes, organizers with the 撸奶社区Rotaract Club said in a statement.
The race, which should take about 1 hours, costs $10 per participant, with kids 12 and under admitted for free. Participants can register through today (Thursday, May 2) by printing off the entry form from the 撸奶社区Rotary's website (www.squamishrotary.com) and following the drop-off instructions. Those who pre-register will receive a five-minute deduction from their race times. Day-of-event registration begins at 10 a.m. at Junction (Pavilion) Park.
