Sea to Sky Gondola

The Sea to Sky Gondola has several family-friendly activities this upcoming weekend.

On Sunday, Feb. 18, Will Ross will be performing at the gondola’s weekly Sunday Social event.

“We've got tunes that'll make you want to dance while you soak in the stunning views. It's the perfect way to spend a Sunday with your family,” .

The gondola will also host a scavenger hunt adventure outside exploring the trails or they also have colouring pages and board games, if looking for something a little mellower.

Other regular activities are available as well, including hiking and hanging out by the fire pits.

Britannia Mine Museum

The Britannia Mine Museum is offering 50% off its admissions on Saturday, Sunday and Monday for B.C. residents.

Adult ticket pricing drops to about $21, youth (13 to 17) drops to $16, and children (five to 12) to $12. These tickets include the underground tour and the BOOM! show in Mill #3, plus other activities.

According to the museum’s website, one of the exhibits the museum is showing is the Land of Thundering Snow, which explores avalanche history and safety in Canada.

“The exhibit also emphasizes the impact that avalanches have had on human settlement, migration, travel, and transportation. From the mapping of railway and highways to the technological advances of avalanche mitigation, the story of avalanches encompasses the story of humans and landscape and ties them together for museum visitors in an engaging and interactive experience,” the .

Hot Chocolate Festival

Ongoing since the start of February, the fourth annual Hot Chocolate Festival is on at 22 different 撸奶社区businesses this year.

Hosted by Tourism Squamish, this year’s festival includes a passport where folks can collect stamps and ultimately enter to win a cruiser bike if they visit at least 10 different locales.

The festival is on until Feb. 22, so perhaps Family Day weekend folks can finish up those passports, which are available online at .
