The 2014 Realtors Care Blanket Drive kicks off November 17 to 24, and the charity drive is looking for donations of new or gently used blankets, sleeping bags, hats, gloves and mittens, scarves, winter jackets and other warm winter clothing.
鈥淓very year for 20 years the event has been sponsored by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver,鈥� said Debbie Anderson, a 撸奶社区real estate agent who has been coordinator of the drive for the Sea to Sky Corridor for the past 10 years. 鈥淎ll of the donations we receive from our real estate offices in 撸奶社区are delivered to Helping Hands.鈥�
Anderson said the goal of the drive is to 鈥済ive the gift of warmth as we head into winter.鈥�
She said items can be dropped off at any participating office in 撸奶社区鈥� Royal Lepage Black Tusk Realty, Remax Sea to Sky, MacDonald Realty 鈥� and the clothing and blankets will be delivered to Helping Hands.
