Happy Tuesday, Whistler! Here's how things are shaping up out there so far.
Today's calls for periods of snow mixed with rain with a high of about 3 C in Whistler. A low of 0 C is expected overnight, with more snow mixed with rain. Looking to tomorrow, the forecast calls for a chance of wet flurries or rain showers, with a high of about 4 C.
, Whistler Blackcomb is forecasting cloudy skies with scattered flurries, with temperatures around -5 C, and moderate winds. The freezing level sits at about 1,300 metres. The mountain operator is reporting seven cm of fresh snow in the past 12 hours, and a base depth of about 271 cm.
WB is reporting 53 groomed runs and 854 acres on Whistler, and 57 groomed runs and 659 acres on Blackcomb.
Both alpine and mid-mountain surface conditions are listed as variable.
"Flurries are expected to pick up a bit today as a system moves just southwest of the region. Flurries are then expected to continue Wednesday as the system moves into central regions of the province then departs, with another system then possible sometime near the start of the weekend," WB said in its morning report.

The avalanche danger rating in the Sea to Sky is currently considerable, .
"Human-triggered avalanches are likely. Careful snowpack evaluation, cautious route-finding, and conservative decision-making are essential," the forecaster said on its website.
