2 virtual lottery tickets worth $10K each bought somewhere in B.C.

Did you play Lotto 6/49's draw this past weekend?

If you played Lotto 6/49 online this past weekend, double-check your tickets.

Two people in B.C. won $10,000 each from the national contest's guaranteed prize draw on Saturday, March 8.

The tickets purchased online somewhere across the province are listed as "PlayNow.com" — the title listed by the BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) when someone has won virtually.

The numbers selected out of B.C. are as follows:

  • 00068412-03
  • 00263880-01

It's not yet known if either players have come forward to claim the five-figure jackpots. The names and communities of residency may be released at a later date.

"All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize," BCLC has previously stated.

"The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners' name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize."

The virtual tickets were among 25 total guaranteed $10,000 prizes from Lotto 6/49's weekend draw.

Two others were from B.C., specifically purchased in Parksville and Vernon.

No one took home the $26-million Gold Ball prize, according to BCLC.

Someone in Québec, however, claimed the $5-million Classic Draw, while another won the White Ball jackpot worth $1 million out of western Canada (Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba).
