Vancouverites looking to fly across the county for a steal will want to take advantage of some low-cost tickets to Nova Scotia.
Canada's second-largest airline has dropped prices on tickets from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ), providing travellers with a rare opportunity to visit the Maritimes without breaking the bank.
While WestJet and Air Canada both offer direct Vancouver flights to Halifax, tickets with the latter cost significantly more. Air Canada's new route , providing air travellers with another direct option to the stunning city.
WestJet is currently offering return trips with direct flights to Nova's Scotia capital city on several dates for under $400 including all taxes and fees.
For example, a red-eye flight that darts from Vancouver on June 15 and returns from Halifax on June 23 costs $375.46 including all taxes and fees.
To find low-cost options, use Google Flights' price calendar to browse deals that work with your travel availability.
To use the calendar, simply enter YVR in the "coming from?" field and then enter YHZ as the "where to?" From there, you'll be prompted to enter your travel dates but you'll be able to see pricing on the drop-down calendar. Choose the cheapest option that works for your schedule as a departing date and then match it with the cheapest return date option.
