A cougar was spotted near Glenlyon Norfolk School’s Beach Drive campus in Oak Bay early Friday morning.
The sighting at about 5 a.m. in the area of Shady Lane, across Beach Drive from the waterfront school, was reported on the Oak Bay Local Facebook page.
Oak Bay police said the sighting was not confirmed, but officers patrolled the location and both the B.C. Conservation Officer Service and school were informed.
