PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Chase Wheatcroft had a goal and three assists and Tyler Brennan had a 22-save shutout as the Prince George Cougars crushed the visiting Vancouver Giants 6-0.

Koehn Ziemmer, Jaxsen Wiebe, Riley Heidt, Hudson Thornton and Caden Brown also scored for the surging Cougars (29-23-4-0), who led 1-0 after the first period and 3-0 heading into the third.

The Giants (21-28-5-2) were outshot 35-22 and went 0-for-5 on the power play. The Cougars were 3-for-5 with the man advantage.
